1st day of school !!! 1st day of school!!!

Well guys it's here and only one hour in and I am getting a little lonely for my miss e!
She started kindergarten today, and while she seems to be fine... I am not so lucky! i know she's all ready to go to school, but i just want to make sure that as a new kindergarden parent I do all the stuff I need to and let her grow with the space she needs but also stays close enough to be a good parent and be tuned in. how does one do that? I guess we'll find out in the next 12 years !
I think O dogg ( as my brother calls him) knew I needed a little bit of love today so he smiled at me and looked at me at the same time today...His first time smiling at me and really looking at me, which is a huge deal for a mom !
Anyway the kitchen timer is on counting down... not to how long it will be before a cake gets out of the oven but until I can go get my baby girl only 5 hours and 37 mins to go....

I spy something green...

Ok blogger fans ( all two of you ) hold on... I will be posting twice in one day!!!! I just hope this types out as funny as it happened in the car on the way home from the sprinkler park. Micah was laughing so hard he almost had to pull the van over and I was trying to help drive but I was choking on my blizzard...
We're playing i spy which with a 5 and 3 year old is somewhat limiting as are the knock knock jokes they tell but still we plug on...
we made one rule and the thing you spied had to be in the car...
It was my turn and I spied something green
Miss E guesses the grass outside...
Micah guesses O's nukie
it was the temp light in the car
Miss e's turn to go and she spies something green
I guess the grass outside (cause I wasn't sure if she got the rules )
Micah guesses O's nukie
It was something random in the car
Micah's turn to go and he spies something green...
Evie goes oh I know !! It's the grass!!!
( it was the nukie)
ok this was way funnier in person... but still omg
gotta love the babies!

We already had a bath once this week!

today over breakfast (cinnamon toast crunch & bananas ) I told my two daughters that in addition to any fun we'd be having this day that we'd also be having a bath at some point. To which my almost 6 yr old replies but mom... we already had a bath once this week!

OMG seriously i know that summer is a time of relaxation and technically when you swim everyday you are by default sort of clean anyway, but no way am i going to be starting off the year of kindergarten with the stinky kid in class... Buy stock in soap kids we're going to be getting squeaky....

Orion

so he's a boy!! Our newest little bundle is a bouncing baby boy! Why by the way do they say that ? Did someone at some point try to bounce their son and he did ? ugh ...
Well I thought he would be a boy, only because I was hoping that the facial hair i was growing was due to his testosterone and not because I was becoming scary facial hair lady... whew...
well whew for now I guess that facial hair thing is just one fantastic thing about getting old which I am... I will be going on 62 when my little boy is 30! holy crap!
Speaking of crap I have a myth to debunk about boys are so easy la dee freakin da!
I think that easy is determined by that person. Granted girls bring with them a certain level of drama and divaishness and hysteria. I know I am one and I have two girls that can make that happen for you at any point. But when it comes to changing a diaper it's pretty straightforward.
So far in our short 4 weeks as a couple orion has peed on me several times to which I stand there and take it only regisitering the act about when he finishes up... and cleaning poop off of balls is like playing poop tag and I am always loosing that game too! haa ! well no other complaints from me. He's a wonderful baby who wasn't named JR thank goodness, and was named after a constellation (the hunter ) and also for the reason that my husband said was that it reminded him of us when we were dating and always went out stargazing.
Miss E can't wait to get to pick him up and walk around with him which i won't let her and ruby is all over patting him on the head and then telling me to put him down so we can go play!

SOCKS

Today is my last day of work before I go on maternity leave for this new baby! I was very excited to be done (with work) and a little nervous for the hard part to start ( the new baby & Three kids! ) and then while getting dressed I decided that today I will celebrate the fact that I no longer have to put on socks unless I want to. I have been a master of new positions lately to get those suckers on and it is with a happy heart that I no longer have to!
YEA ME!

Miss E's big tap recital

My baby girl miss E had her first tap recital last night and afternoon. She was awesome! I would have freaked out being on stage with all that stuff going on! She missed dress rehearsal even so her big first time was really her first time on stage! The pics if they turn out will be so cute. Anyway, the last show was later so driving home with Miss E getting a frosty from Wendy's as her big treat she and I talked about her big night and how great it was to be out of school and I realised that my baby was going to be grown up before I know it and I will have to beg her to hang out.
I just want to bottle her right up.
Sniff sniff sniff!
Ok being pregg doesn't help the emotional area much....

Thunder Stormin'

My baby girl miss ruby will be 3 soon, and while she is big on personality she isn't such a big talker. Can't imagine why not with her older sis and I doing most of it for her. Well anyway one morning this week after spending a great night squished up against Miss E ( due to thunderstorm panic) we went into Ruby's room and Miss E goes Ruby did you hear the big thunderstorm? ( In her defense it was VERY loud and even woke up the hubby) And miss ruby goes "YEA" "Me was like this" and then goes to show us both that she sticks her thumb in her mouth grabs her blanket and gets into the fetal position on her bed and starts to shake. Ok, my BABY was shaking in the fetal position all night because she didn't know to yell for me! OMG!!!! So I ( heart ripping from my chest ) say oh baby you know you can call momma when you get scared! Just call me and I will come and get you! Needless to say the next night while Miss E and I were out at her recital, little ruby yelled at the top of her lungs for my husband. Too funny though. Shaking in her crib.

Make way for baby

so I know that I have mentioned that we're having baby # 3, but we don't know if it's going to be a boy or a girl. I thought it was going to be a girl and feeling bad for my husband I gave him naming rights to the boy ( thinking I was being nice and not actually have to let him do anything) well here we are at week 34 and after being sick from one cold or another since week 20 I have decided that this baby is a boy and is sucking the life out of me. Also I have a husband who is insisting on naming our son ( if he is a son) Jr. Please help my unborn child. Whom with a name like that will most def be fixing some wreck of a car in a bad part of town with two teeth and a flannel shirt.... would you elect a president by the name of Jr?
Ok so I digress. It could be worse. My oldest miss E thinks that Jr is a great name and doesn't understand why I get upset when dear hubby says that's the name. (and I do hope he's teasing) and our little one miss ruby thinks I am having a puppy. Boy is she going to be surprised. I just can't wait to meet our little one and see if they beat the record of our last "little" one of over 10 lbs...

Mini Van Momma

Hello all my loyal readers! I was just posed a question on whether or not new posts were going to come as one can't live on Peanut butter and Johnny Depp forever...I concluded that I would be able to live on Peanut butter and Johnny Depp forever, but perhaps you cannot. So here's the big news in my house. I have officially purchased a mini van. I am "one of them" as a truck driving mom called me. With addition # 3, we found the pick up truck to be less than usefull in hauling our cargo ( and by that I mean mah babies ) So we searched and searched for a larger truck to use. We already have a suburban but man o man filling that baby up is like 140.00 on a good day! So making a long blog shorter, we arrived at the conclusion that we can't get what we want so we get the mini and it has seats that fold down and doors that open automatically and the kids love it ( well miss E's not too keep on the non opening windows ) and I am being wooed by my caravan. So just call me Mini Van Momma!

Johnny Depp

So this last week was a frenzy for me and several thousand other people as Universal Studios and Johnny Depp and the crew for the movie PUBLIC ENEMY came to town. I don't know if it has to do with my pregnancy or if I at will can just become obsessed but if it weren't for the fact that I am with my children 24/7 and have some sort of weird rule that I can't subject them to my own weirdness I would have been camped out by his trailer for a week. I would have probably packed lots of peanut butter provisions but still camping I would have been.
Anyway, on friday the frenzy became full blown as several friends and I got some very good intell that our JD was going to be in Eureka for a bridge shoot. The girls and I headed out there before work to scout the area and I packed enough snacks to last a while incase there was actually something going on. 5 trips through town in my very low profile suburban ( haa ) later Miss E ( she's so very 5 right now) asks me if we were lost and if there were any more chips... alas no and headed home to go to work. The panic continued into the evening and we were all very disappointed when the plans were scrapped and he officially per the Osh Northwestern (www.thenorthwestern.com) headed home in his private jet. Coincindentally we decidided that we should have fig'd that out and just headed for the airport. Alas he's headed off to little bohemia or some other town in Wis for now and we (my house esp ) breathe a little sigh of relief knowing that life can get back to normal and the pile of laundry and all the clutter that accumulated this week can get picked up. Funny thing is that besides a few Eureka missions and one trip to Oshkosh I really didn't get too close to the movie... Still heard nothing but nice things about JDepp and wish I had my own tale to tell. Except that if for some reason you find this blog and read it, JD, my friend lisa would like you to quit smoking and I would love to just say HI<> you rock!
Ok not my best moment but in the panic of him possibly reading the blog my words left my head.

All things peanut butter

I thought long and hard about what to post for my first official blog.
I decided that I would go into my current love for all things peanut butter.
I have listed in order the different ways I crave peanut butter.
(as a side note for all of you who just don't know me, I am in my 29th week of pregnancy with my 3rd baby.)
1. Peanut Butter M&M's
2. Peanut Butter Double stuffed Oreos
3. Peanut Butter Whoppers ( which are cheaper than the M&M's but less satisfying)
4. Peanut butter on white bread
5. Those already made sammies with strawberry jelly and peanut butter they are circles and are super tasty frozen.
Of course these all need a big glass of white milk to accompany them.
Those are the random thoughts for today!
